No additional administration or database backup software licenses or management is needed when integrating MyWorkDrive. Files remains in standard NTFS format instead of proprietary cloud storage. Optionally customers may also connect to OneDrive or SharePoint alongside standard SMB file shares.

MyWorkDrive pricing starts at $5/user/month with no migration costs. Egnyte pricing starts at $20/user/Month. Files will need to be migrated to Egnyte and users will need to be retrained at company expense. With MyWorkDrive, files remain in place without any migration and users can use our Mapped Drive Client with no training required.

Security

Unlike Egnyte, MyWorkDrive does not store or use login information or access to files. This is done with native support for NTFS and Access Based Enumeration. All file access is granted in the context of the currently logged on user only. For communications, MyWorkDrive uses SHA256 Encryption and provides the necessary controls for compliance with CMMC, FINRA, HIPAA, and GDPR. MyWorkDrive provides additional security with Device Approval, Data Leak Prevention and extensive logging.
